What you will do The Equipment Operator is an entry level position in Clearwater Paper's Fiber division, located at our whole log chip mill in Clarkston, Washington.
This position ensures efficient flow of material to meet production demands.
Follow direction of Production Supervisor and/or other supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operation of debarkers, stationary and portable chipping mill production equipment to maximize uptime production.
Communicate, via CB radio, with other staff and log yard to ensure safe and efficient production practices are adhered to at all times.
Participate in the operational planning process for production and maintenance with Production Supervisor and Maintenance Supervisor.
Safely and efficiently transfer logs from infeed decks through debarkers to chippers.
Work with Production Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor and maintenance personnel to ensure proper servicing of chip mill is performed as scheduled and/or required.
Follow standard work procedures.
Become proficient in the operation your assigned production center and at least one other production center on site.
Participate (and assist as needed) in the training process with other staff members to ensure each production center has multiple skilled operators cross-trained.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will need To be successful in this position, we are looking for candidates with the following:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required) Industrial, Paper Manufacturing, Chip Mill, Lumber Mill or similar industry experience (preferred) Understanding of the operation and maintenance functions of machinery Able to function in a work environment with long hours, and possess an excellent work ethic Good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills Be a reliable and productive team player Above average verbal and written communication skills Good planning and organizational skills Experience in operating debarker chipper production centers, mill equipment and hand tools.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
