What's the job?The Business Development Specialist is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the restoration industry.
This role involves building relationships with clients, generating leads, and developing strategies to expand the company's customer base.
The specialist will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to promote the company's restoration services and drive revenue growth.
You'll constantly be finding our ideal clients.
From structured and non-structured networking functions, attending industry events, to asking for referrals with existing customers, you'll work to identify and connect with people and organizations that could benefit from Disaster Response's services.
You'll be closing new deals.
With your qualified leads, you'll take them through a journey to get them from prospect to partner.
You'll be focused on increasing revenue with existing clients.
You'll constantly identify and connect with referrers at new and existing client locations to increase Disaster Response's market-share.
You're the competition expert.
You'll masterfully articulate Disaster Responses key differentiators in every context, knowing what sets us apart from the competition and why savvy clients prefer Disaster Response every time.
You'll be hyper focused on setting your production teammates up for success.
You'll collaborate with the production team to ensure that we're providing an ideal client experience.
What are we looking for? At least three (3) years of experience in relationship sales, marketing, or advertising, with an emphasis on business development and account management; degree in Business/Sales/Communication or related field, is preferred Proficiency in office productivity software and familiar with CRM software Experience in the construction or restoration industry a plus Able to work independently and as part of a team Accountable, proactive, and thoughtful Attentive to detail and solid strategic problem-solving skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Skilled oral and written communicator Able to listen effectively and resolve conflict in a positive, productive manner Able to be calm and communicate effectively with customers who are in a stressful situation Coachability.
